Meet the Founders Annick and Cecilia
Annick and Cecilia’s journey began in 2007 at Porto del Gusto, a vibrant destination on the Tuscan coast. Together, they designed and executed stunning events, from gala dinners to exclusive private celebrations.
With extensive experience in Italy and abroad, they have come together once again to create UhLaLa, a wedding planning agency that blends Italian charm with a global perspective.

Meet Annick
A French-Canadian with an Italian heart
and a passion for creating extraordinary
celebrations.
Originally from Montreal, Annick’s journey led her to Milan, where she worked in the fashion industry before transitioning into marketing, e-commerce, and event planning. Her path eventually brought her to Tuscany… after marrying herself an Italian, then São Paulo, Brazil, before returning to Italy – each experience adding a new layer to her expertise.
Annick’s career in marketing, business development, and project management spans Canada, Italy, and Brazil, giving her a unique international perspective. She is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Portuguese, allowing her to connect deeply with couples from diverse backgrounds.
With her eye for detail, organizational skills, and client-first approach, Annick ensures that every wedding is seamless, stress-free, and deeply personal.
Meet Cecilia
Creative by nature, curious by passion.
Growing up in Tuscany, among rolling vineyards and the Mediterranean breeze, Cecilia developed a deep appreciation for beauty, culture, and exceptional hospitality. With a background in event planning, food, and fashion, she has organized high-profile events both in Italy and internationally.
Her global experiences- spanning Northern Europe to the East – have shaped her expertise in curating weddings that are not only visually stunning but also gastronomically unforgettable. Cecilia has opened restaurants in Italy and abroad, introducing authentic Italian flavors to Shanghai, Singapore, and the Middle East.
Her passion for taste, aesthetics, and perfection makes her an invaluable force behind every wedding’s success.
